London Drugs Helps Customers Embrace Plant-Based Lifestyles by Highlighting Range of Vegan-Friendly Food, Health and Beauty Choices Throughout January
After the success of Veganuary 2021, London Drugs is once again highlighting their range of plant-based products in all stores across Western Canada throughout January.
Launched in 2014, Veganuary is a non-profit organization that challenges people around the world to make a 31-day commitment to eat a more plant-based diet for the month of January. In 2021, more than 500,000 people pledged to try a vegan diet through the Veganuary challenge and more than 800 new vegan products were introduced in key participating countries.
In January 2021, London Drugs participated in its first Veganuary and shone a spotlight on its ever-expanding, diverse lineup of vegan-friendly foods, health and wellness, beauty and cleaning products that support a more plant-based and sustainable lifestyle. While it prioritizes showcasing vegan products during Veganuary, all London Drugs locations offer a range of products and a team of pharmacists who assist those looking for a variety of health or dietary options on a daily basis throughout the year.
“We’re proud to offer our customers choices that can help them achieve their goals to improve their overall wellness not just in January, but throughout the year,” says London Drugs COO and president Clint Mahlman. “We strive to provide an extensive range of products for those looking to adopt a more balanced lifestyle.”
From unique, boutique snacks like Jelly Belly Vegan Gummies, Solar Raw Ultimate Kale Chips and Vego Whole Hazelnut Sweet Chocolate Bars to health, beauty and skincare products from Mad Hippie, Weleda, Province Apothecary and Derma-E, London Drugs invites customer to explore the vegan products stocked at participating stores across Western Canada throughout January.
