New partnership program will support the Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada’s goal of raising $2.6 billion over five years and accelerate industry growth by 40 per cent
On September 7, 2023, the Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada (ITAC) will launch a new funding model for Indigenous tourism called the Indigenous Tourism Destination Fund (ITDF).
The ITDF will bring ITAC one step closer to its goal of raising $2.6 billion over five years, and accelerate industry growth by 40 per cent, while also supporting investments into infrastructure, human resources and transportation as well as business development and marketing.
Media are invited to help launch the new program and connect with representatives from early adopting companies on why this new funding model is integral to the health and success of Indigenous tourism.
